Marc Tavas is a CREATIVE PRODUCER based between Toronto and Montréal.


For five years, I’ve been guiding the in-house creative studio at Wealthsimple to successfully ship editorial content, product campaigns, brand campaigns, and film/still shoots.

For a decade before that, I’ve lived lives across graphic design, art direction, content strategy, account/client services, and project management at agencies and magazines.

EDUCATIONAL CONTENT (2024)

The Wealthsimple Foundation gives youth the tools and financial literacy they need to access post-secondary education so that they can increase their future earning potential and become the investors of tomorrow. So, as a follow-up to our Investing Master Class, we created the high school course about money that we all should’ve had growing up.



Role: CLIENT-SIDE EXECUTIVE PRODUCER
  • Co-owned the client-side creative scoping, schedule, and budget
  • Selected the production company and film director
  • Drove the in-house creative process (pitch to management, brief, and scripts), content approvals, and director treatment review
  • Advocated for a diverse crew that mirrors the communities that the Wealthsimple Foundation serves
  • Acted as art director to ensure the series aligned to Wealthsimple’s parent brand by consulting on: visual elements (graphics and set design), pre-production (locations, casting, styling), post-production (editing, colour, sound, and music), and promotion (social cuts and wildposting ads)
