GROWTH MARKETING CAMPAIGN (2024)
Ahead of the 2024 RRSP season, Wealthsimple offered a 0.5% match to anyone who ditched their bank and moved their investment accounts. But who was doing all the matching on our end anyway? Well, our CEO Mike Katchen literally couldn’t stop “matching” in our first-ever film spots made for an incentive-based campaign. (Which, by the end of it, contributed to the highest grand total of deposits ever made into Wealthsimple in a single month.)
Role: CREATIVE PRODUCER
- Managed the campaign’s creative scoping, schedule, staffing, budget, and printing
- Organized the in-house film concept development (brief, scripts, and storyboards)
- Supported the shortlisting, bidding process, and treatment review to select a film director and production company
- Collaborated with the film shoot’s line producer on pre-production approvals (casting, locations, art department, and styling)
- Managed the post-production process directly with houses (editing, colour, VFX, voiceover, music, and sound)
- Drove the editorial and printing process of the TLDR newspaper’s second edition, from initial story lineup all the way to final press check
- Shaped the campaign’s social content calendar
- Crafted and edited the IRL activations’ live Instagram Reels & Stories
- Directed the IRL activations’ live photography
